On Campus:

 

Student Wellness and Health Promotion is an on campus office that provides information for students on how they can learn about and get treated for substance abuse. They have several initiatives and projects in place such as the APPLE Team Coalition and Strategic Prevention in order to educate and prevent substance abuse in UD students. It is also a requirement of every freshman to complete an online educational course called Alcohol.edu for awareness, education, and prevention purposes. Learn More using the link below.

Opt4 is a registered student organization (RSO) on The University of Delaware Campus. This is an organization that works to bring students across campus fun and substance free events. It is their goal to help students lead a substance free life while 

promoting awareness and educating students on the dangers of substance abuse in our age group. While their primary focus is to provide alternatives for alcohol consumption the group is one of the first to branch out and aid other organizations on campus providing alternatives for students who are likely to engage in dangerous behaviors.  Learn more using the link below.

 

MEDLIFE is a registered student organization at the University of Delaware.

Off Campus:

World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized division of the United Nations with the goal of improving public health conditions on a global scale. Created in 1948, WHO is now made up of more than 7000 people and works in 150 countries worldwide. WHO works in several topic areas including healthcare reforms, fighting against epidemics like HIV/AIDS and malaria, preventing obesity and heart disease, and overall promoting good health practices. National Health and Family Planning Commission of China (NHFPC) 

"The NHFPC is responsible for drafting laws and regulations for health and family planning as well as the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chinese Medical Association (CMA) is a non-profit organization created in 1915 with over 600,000 members. The functions of the CMA include developing medical science and technology, educating, cultivating, and recommending talented individuals in the medical field and publishing over one hundred medical and science journals. In addition the CMA acts as an important link between the government and medical professionals to facilitate communication about recommendations and requests in the field.
